BEH conceptualized and wrote a white paper discussing the increased use of alternative and complementary medicine approaches in the United States. BEH's research discussed the evidence-base for each service and identified payor covered services. The white paper recommended how to design an evidence-based public health program utilizing alternative and complementary medicine in tandem with existing pain management techniques.
